Technical Sales Customer Service and Support – UK

This is a fulfilling, office based, customer and team support role, providing comprehensive technical customer service and sales support to our Industrial market at the Harken UK head office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service

  • Answer customer sales enquiries and process orders
  • Manage CRM system
  • Proactively contact customers to follow up quotes, sales leads, and promotions
  • Research marketplace for sales opportunities
  • Support and attend Shows, demos, and customer meetings where required

Technical Support

  • Work with the technical team to provide answers and solutions to the customer
  • Run CE and quality control product testing

Marketing Support

  • Assist with technical writing for marketing copy
  • Write/amend manuals and CE literature

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience - at least 3 years customer-facing job role
  • Technical - Knowledge of sail boat equipment, CE legislation, and general engineering-based technical expertise
  • Administration - high level expertise of Excel, Word, CRM and InDesign
  • Literate - fluent ability to write technical text in English
  • Organization - ability to organize your own work to satisfactory final conclusions

LOCATION

Full time, located at our office in Lymington, Hampshire.
